The Greater San Antonio Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the expansion of its executive leadership team with the appointment of Jesse Cazares as Communications Director.

"Jesse is a great fit for our organization as he knows how to successfully market a membership organization,” said Jeff Webster, President & CEO of the Greater Chamber. “He has tremendous experience in media, marketing and communications, has strong ties to the business community, and has a passion for advancing our community through a healthy business climate, responsible economic development, strong local government and great quality of life.” Cazares currently serves as the Co-Founder and Chair of the Downtown San Antonio Neighborhood Association, better known as the “Urbanistas.” Additionally, he is the Founder and Influencer of the blog site, Socialize San Antonio, where he promoted and enhanced the growth and outreach of local businesses, growing his following to an impressive 44,000-plus followers. His previous roles include Social Media Product Manager at the San Antonio Express-News, Marketing Manager at Geekdom, and most recently Community Lead at Common Desk – A WeWork Company.
